Our research program focus on understanding macromolecular structures. We are interested in characterizing their shapes, and use this information to improve our understanding of their stability. We are also interested in characterizing the subset of sequence space compatible with a protein or nucleic acid structure: this is an indirect approach to understanding sequence evolution, both at the RNA and protein level. In parallel, we are involved in the development of new algorithms for predicting the structure of a protein, based on its sequence.
